Rock-tech were asked to provide a complete lighting system for one of Switchfoot's European Tour Dates.

Night of Honour, Sheffield Ponds Forge ISC

Sheffield Ponds Forge ISC was the setting for the spectacular Night of Honour 2006. Rock-tech were asked back for a second year to provide a complete sound and lighting system with additional staging and video equipment.
Both the sound and lighting were carefully choreographed, with the Rock-tech team working closely alongside the clients production team acheiving excellent results within a limited time frame.

Audacious Conference 2006, Sheffield and Portsmouth

Touring between two venues, Sheffield City Hall and Portsmouth Guild Hall, the Audacious Conference was big and loud!
The Audacious Band was the main band for the two week event, with Planet Shakers making two guest appearances.

Yesterday Once More, Lyme Park

|
For 'Yesterday Once More' Rock-tech was called upon to provide a complete event solution including sound, lighting, staging and power for a Carpenters Tribute event at Lyme Park.
A ground stacked M7 system combined with M5 outfill covered the wide audience area and was controlled via a Hill Concept. The team also worked closely alongside the National Trust to ensure a smooth running and safe event.

CreationFest, Woolacombe

At CreationFest 05 Rock-tech was responsible for providing Sound, Lighting and LED screen for the Main Stage and the Acoustic Cafe.
Over 6,000 people attended the event, which continued throughout the weekend, with highlights including Four Kornerz, Phil Wickham and many others.
Two 4 element M8 Line-arrays were used for the main stage ensuring optimum site coverage whilst still meeting local council requirements. A combination of Hill Concept and Allen-Heath desks were used to provide FOH and Monitor control for both venues.
A 5 x 4 module Barco LED Screen was ground supported and flown, allowing live video to be seen across the Site.

University of York Graduation Ball 2005, York Racecourse

Rock-tech provided the main stage Lighting for York University at their graduation ball. Three other areas were also lit including the clock tower and Ice-rink.
LibertyX, The Editors and Edith Bowman from Radio One played to over 1500 people at the successful event.
A bespoke motorised trussing structure was designed for the event to make the most of the venue's height and size. 18 Moving heads were used in conjunction with Avolites Sapphire and Azure desks.

Opening Ceremony for a Bridge over the A64, York

Rock-tech provided a complete and inhouse service to Birse, the main contractor for the bridge, including the sound, staging and power generation.
Many kind comments were received, with all of the visiting VIPs clearly hearing every word of the opening ceremony.

Hope City Church, 4 Cities Celebration 2005, Elland Road

Rock-tech provided Sound, Lighting and Staging for Sheffield Hope City Church at their 4 Cities Celebration.
Over 400 people attended the successful event.
For sound a stacked M7 system was used, with a 32 ch Hill Concept FOH desk and Allen-Heath monitor desk.
As well as a comprehensive Par can rig, 4 x Martin MAC250's were used to create an exciting atmosphere.
Steve Bullock, one of the organisers for the event said, "We have never used a company with such a great attitude and willingness to serve."

XL and XS 2005, York Minster

Over the weekend 1000+ young people came to see Tim Hughes and Lex Brodie from Soul Survivor lead worship in York Minster.
An M8 Line-array was used along with M5 Infill and M5 Delays providing even coverage throughout the main nave.
Lighting was controlled using our Avolites Sapphire with Martin Moving heads and scanners to create a sense of theatre. A cafe area was also lit with architectural uplights. A 9m motorised truss was erected at the rear of the venue to provide flown M7 surround sound and extra audience lighting.
Two rear projected video screens were supplied, with their positioning optimised for maximum brightness

Harvest 2004

At this years Harvest Rock-tech provided sound and lights and a complete motorised ground support rigging system for two venues. Lex Brodie from Soul Survivor headlined the main stage with YFriday playing the last night. An M8 Line-array with Hill Concept FOH mixer was used for the main venue, easily covering the 1000+ audience.

Creation Fest 2004

Rock-tech looked after both the sound and lights for the main stage, and with a 40k M8 line-array, Creation Fest was rocking. Stunning bands from America such as The Cross Movement and some of the UK's best christian artists, The Tribe, Steve, Bandwithnoname, to name a few, played at the festival.

University Ball in York Minster

For this demanding event an extensive delay system was employed, easily coping with large reverberation times, for both a funk band and after dinner speaker. Working closely with the customer, the team was able to design a lighting system which created a stunning atmosphere, set in this impressive building.

New Eden Music Festival - 2004

|
For the second year running, New Eden was a tremendous success. This year the line up included high profile artists such as Phats and Small, and Shane Lynch from Boyzone. The M8 Line-array system easily covered the event, with many positive comments from artists, engineers and the event promoters.

Harvest

|
Harvest saw the rock-tech team working alongside Tim Hughes, Mike Pilavachi and many others in the main venue. With tight regulations for overall sound levels, the in-depth experience of the rock-tech team ensured a rocking volume while maintaining high quality. The club one venue was packed out out all week, powered with a versatile M7 system, YFriday, BandWithNoName, RPM and other artists rocked till the small hours.
